About Us

Kokedama home was born from the a love of indoor plants, mixed with an enjoyment of the Japanese sense of style and display. When i first saw a Kokedama i was immediately taken with the fact that the plant was the star of the show,  it looked like something to be held and touched. I was also blown away by just how simple the design was. It is a perfect way to show a plant in all its glory, you can have them at eye level and they gently swing in a breeze, moving them around to get the most even lighting you could ask for.

Based on the sunshine coast Queensland this is the perfect location for houseplants, as the humidity is high and the temperature is nice and stable. But I still try and select plants that are able to handle a bit of a hard time in order to cope with the postal system!
